The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the first annual ATHENA® Award for the city of Geneva and its surrounding area.  Nominations are now being accepted for the ATHENA Award, which will be presented on September 21, 2007 to an exceptional individual who has achieved excellence in their business or profession, has served the community in a meaningful way, and has assisted women in reaching their full leadership potential.

The ATHENA Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating leadership opportunities for women.  Established in East Lansing, Michigan, the Foundation administers the ATHENA Award Program and additional programs designed to assist women in reaching their full leadership potential. 

The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce is also currently looking for sponsors to help underwrite the cost of this program.  If you would like to sponsor the event, please contact Rob Gladden at the Chamber, (315) 789-1776.
